Throwsides Windows & Siding is a referral service for homeowners. We help people start a window or siding project with clear facts and fewer surprises. We are not a contractor. Providers do the work.

Why This Site Exists

Exterior projects look simple from the driveway. They are not. Windows are heavy. Ladders are risky. A poor seal can let water into a wall and stay hidden for months. Many homeowners feel rushed or unsure, and that is when mistakes happen.

So this site does two things. It explains which small tasks are safe to do yourself and which are not. Then it connects you with independent local providers who have the tools and training for the rest.

How Providers Are Matched

You send a short request about your home and your project. We share it with providers in our network who serve your area and handle that kind of work. They contact you with questions, and later with a written estimate.

For window jobs, we focus on replacement of two or more windows. Repairs are outside what we refer.

What We Ask of Providers

Providers in our network are independent businesses. We ask them to:

• Be clear and honest about scope, materials and timing
• Give written estimates you can compare
• Follow local permit and building rules
• Respect your decision if you say no

Check license and insurance details with each provider yourself. Ask to see them in writing.

What We Do Not Do

We do not install, repair or remove anything. We do not set prices or schedules. We do not sign contracts for you. We do not promise how fast a provider can arrive, because availability varies. We also do not tell you which provider to pick. Compare, then decide.

How the Money Works

You are not charged by Throwsides Windows & Siding for a referral. Providers in the network may pay for the homeowner requests they receive. Your agreement, price and payment terms are always between you and the provider. Read every document before you sign it.

Why Safety Comes First

We would rather slow you down than see you hurt. Do not lean out of upper windows. Do not pull off old frames or siding without knowing what is behind them. Older materials can hide hazards. Look from the ground, take photos, and let a provider handle the climbing.
